Electricity Use and Invoicing Form

I have electricity delivered to my Slip. I understand that I will be responsible for the minimum service charge payment as set forth in the HVMI Utilities Services and Procedures document plus any power used by my vessel (if any).

I understand that invoices are due by the 15th of each month. Payments made after the due date will incur a $20.00 late fee or 10% of the open balance – whichever is greater. This late fee will continue to accrue monthly. If payment of an electrical bill is more than 60 days in arrears, written notice of collections and possible lien
proceedings will be sent to the slip owner, or renter if the slip is rented. If payment is not received within 10 days from the date of the notice, additional fees will be accrued, and collection proceedings will be implemented up to or including a lien process. All Attorney fees will be added to the outstanding balance.

Please note: Use of electricity from another slip is considered, by law, to be theft of service and can be prosecuted.

Slip owners can opt out and have their service disconnected any time the slip is to be empty however will still incur the minimum monthly service charge. A reconnection charge of $50 (Fifty Dollars) will be charged for service to be restored.
